Trust and Faith in YOURSELF

After 43 years of spiritual journeying I recognize that to achieve greater spiritual awareness your intent and desire are more important factors than following any specific rules laid down by other individuals. When one understands the concept that we are on this plane to demonstrate how we manage creative energies, the seemingly sealed door to higher awareness and spiritual manifestations is suddenly wide open for you to walk through, and utilize the greater capabilities that you have been endowed with.

I had the thought that each person has their own belief system and when that person is sharing their information, it is based on their experiences based on their own beliefs. Early in my spiritual journey I heard that one had to be chaste; that one should not eat meat; that one had to meditate in a specific manner; that you can only reach higher states with the assistance of a guru; and so on and so on. Endless rules and teachings that have been handed down through time by various groups and individuals.

All those aspects that I listed earlier as the necessities to achieve spiritual awareness, those are other people’s belief systems. I did not follow any of them because I did not believe they fit into my Western lifestyle and manner in which I wanted to live my life.

As you explore the writings of various cultures, societies, groups and the diverse experiences of individuals throughout history, it is very obvious that they did not all follow the same pathway to reach the similar states of spiritual awareness and the use of spiritual gifts. Perhaps it is easier for me to see this because I’ve been a caretaker/librarian of many diverse writings from throughout the world and throughout time.

The value of the various books, lectures and teachings of individuals should be in what they achieved rather than in the manner of THEIR JOURNEY. The journey can be very interesting but it was their journey and not necessarily your journey. The greatest gift they can provide to you is to have placed into your consciousness what is possible for YOU to achieve even if the writers have not personally achieved it.

Very early in my journey I came across a book titled, the 'Yogi Aphorisms of Pantajali.' This book listed the various psychic/spiritual abilities that human beings can manifest. Within one week of reading each of the various capabilities, I had the personal experience of each and every one of them happening immediately in my life.

It was stated in the book that many of these abilities would take years and years of intense meditation and other yogic regimes. Some of the abilities could only be initiated through the contact with a Guru.  I know that I had my experiences to show me that this was not necessarily the case, unless I believed it to be the case.

Now there will be some that will say that I had my necessary training in past lives and now in this life I was ready to have the experience. I could also say, due to the fact that you are reading my posts, that it is the same for YOU. Instant healing, bilocation, clairaudience, clairvoyance, and so many other abilities are here and present for each of YOU now!  Facebook friends, WE are the same FAMILY.

Manifesting, creating and accelerating various activities are possible for YOU, NOW, when you understand that it is not only possible, but already available to you NOW. It is only your lack of trust in yourself and your false belief that you might not have the capability to achieve these things that limits YOU.

Now we are starting our journey with a picture of Janus.  The two faced image that could see the past as well as the future.  Being that they are both on one coin we can see that from a position in the present we can see both the past and the future.  This is the awareness contained within your Higher Self. 

Emerson said, “We distinguish the announcements of the Over Soul (his description of the Higher Self), its manifestations of its own nature, by the term Revelation.  For the communication is an influx of the Divine Mind.”  There is a peacefulness and joy when communication comes from the Higher Self.

I know from my sharing with people, throughout my life, that all things are possible and that the most important factors in accomplishing seemingly impossible things are intent, desire and will. Paracelsus stated it as Imagination, Faith and Will.

A Beautiful Heart, an Open Mind and a Humble Spirit is my belief system. There are deeper activities that take place within an individual through the activation and desire to achieve these qualities. I know that if you have trust and faith in whatever your belief then the likelihood is that it will manifest. It will manifest to the degree that you believe it will happen for you. You are just as wise, just as spiritual and have all the capabilities of those who write and teach about spiritual ‘things.’

I have found that the words that came from the breeze off the ocean in my dream, had the most impact in opening MY spiritual life.

My dream was, I was walking along the ocean with thousands of people, who like myself, were seeking greater spiritual enlightenment. To my left was the ocean and a short distance in front of me, almost invisible because of a fog, stood a woman dressed in blue holding a microphone. To her immediate left and to my right were circular stands filled with people. I recognized the people in the stands because they were well-known lecturers in the spiritual and health fields. The people in the stands had over-sized heads and there was a fog and loud noises coming from their mouths.

I couldn't hear and could barely see the woman in blue. When I got closer to the woman in blue, I saw it was Sophia, the goddess of wisdom. I then wondered, if these people in the stands, who profess to know so much, were causing this interference, then what are spiritual seekers supposed to do? Then a breeze blew off the ocean, cleared the fog and everything became quiet, and then I heard the following words..."all one needs to reach a higher state of awareness within themselves is, 'A Beautiful Heart, an Open Mind and a Humble Spirit'."

In my dream, the people in the stands are not bad, wrong or deluded. They have their own systems and pathways which they have used to accomplish certain things. Their pathway does not work for all people, but many people believe that they must follow these directions, and only these directions. You should not be disappointed if some of these systems don’t work, the system was not right for you.
You must realize that the majority of the individuals that have written these books have not achieved the higher consciousness of which they write.  They talk a good story rehashing ‘pearls of philosophy from the past,’ but when you are with them, off their stage, they are exactly the same as you. Same problems, same struggles, same lack of belief.

So, let’s begin to get acquainted to our Higher Self.  Talk to this aspect of yourself exactly as you would talk to a loving and close friend or someone you admire.  The dimensions are as close as they have ever been on this planet and you can make this contact if you remain quiet and listen.  This concept of listening to the ‘still small voice within’ is nothing new except, that at this time, despite all of the seeming chaos, it is the best time to make the contact while in physical form.  Invite your Higher Self to share with you and as you do this ‘feel’ the contact.  However it comes; a feeling in your neck, arms, heart, top of head, third eye or a voice…acknowledge it and thank your Higher Self for acknowledging your desire to come closer..


Trust yourself, know that all things are possible for you, and know that if you want something to happen, then it will happen to your level of faith in your belief.  We are just starting out so give everything time and be in joy.

I am sharing this because I am aware that it is the right time and those who desire to maximize their journey on earth have the greatest opportunity that has ever been available for the masses on this planet.

It is time for you to trust yourself and listen to your own inner guidance. Don’t be confined by what others might teach. It is not enough to believe you are becoming more enlightened by just attending conferences. You might be receiving more knowledge but true wisdom comes from within. Go within, listen closely to your inner voice, and TRUST YOURSELF. I Love You.

Becoming One With

A Greek philosopher from approximately 250 AD had some interesting comments regarding achieving enlightenment and fulfilling a desire for lasting happiness and well-being. He remarked that rather than looking at finding satisfaction from matter, that one’s attention should be directed toward a higher source of creation.
This philosopher believed that what you align yourself with, you become that. You become one with that which you desire to be or acquire. We might say that his viewpoint is very similar to the concept held by the American Indian. If you want to know how a bird or animal feels, you become that animal in your consciousness, through becoming and placing yourself within that being. That is knowing and not believing.
This philosopher believed that we are facing the wrong direction in our desires and thereby our energies are being aligned with a form of matter existing below us. If our attention would be focused toward our spiritual source, we will become that. Now this philosopher laid out a philosophical system that stepped down from the ONE source, which next created Spirit, or the energy and force underlying all existence, to a Soul which was individualized in each body of matter.
Plotinus believed that if we long to resonate with the energies that have created and sustained us that we would become one with these energies of greater awareness and ability. Now he remarked that we humans are always attempting to possess something. Today in our world it might be our desire to have the job, car, partner or home. Often, whether in Plotinus’s period or ours, we don’t quite seem to get it right and when we finally possess the item of our desire, it doesn’t always meet our expectations.
Plotinus stated that if you want to know something or achieve something you had to become that something. Now I realize it sounds a bit roundabout, but he was pointing out to not get lost in the contemplation of how to become something, but to place yourself in that state of awareness immediately. Or, “true contemplation is knowledge, not an attempt at knowing.”
“It is not seeing what we want, but sight. Not what has been created, but the Creator. Not signs of Spirit, but Spirit itself. Not thoughts of unity, but actual oneness.”
Of course it is easy for me to share these concepts with you but what might seem ‘heavy’ is merely a slight juxtaposition of awareness. It is the difference between the seer and what is seen, the hearer and what is heard, the know-er and what is known.
Now Spirit, the underlying aspect of all matter, we can become in resonance with if we are able to contemplate it deeply enough. How? Through the recognition that there is a life sustaining energy of existence that permeates everything. Everything! It is the same energy in substance behind all individualized things. This energy becomes individualized as a Soul as it animates matter. Can you see that all is connected and part of the One?
If you can recognize and resonate with the underlying energy of all things, then you become Spirit. Actually you already are that Spirit, so you are now recognizing that fact. You will know everything that Spirit knows, and whatever Spirit can do, which is anything and everything, you will be able to do that also to the degree of your awareness of this fact. You will have a more enhanced awareness of possibilities. You will create and desire to be a part of a larger and more profound creation.
Now this picture is meant to show you that it is about gentleness and beauty. It is about a greater knowing in all that you do. You become a more enhanced YOU. Sense of humor, greater. Sense of Self, greater. Sense of Health, greater. Sense of LOVE, GREATER.
It is about walking and not just talking. It is about being and not desiring to be. What you imagine, you become. Act as you desire to be. Nothing I’ve shared is new or different. These concepts have existed a very long time. Much longer than the many books that abound at this time. I actually feel that today there are too many new systems with too much new rhetoric stating concepts that were explained in a more direct and simply manner in the past.
Have a wonderful last couple of weeks in 2018. New Year’s resolution? What more is possible! I intend to spread more laughter, excitement, fun and love (LEFL) in 2019. So watch yourselves.

Being lighthearted can bring you enlightenment, so go ahead...

Tinkerbell’s light is fading, and has almost gone out.

In the wonderful little movie Peter Pan there was the scene where Tinkerbell had been poisoned and her light was going out. Next we heard, clap your hands if you believe in Fairies! Peter Pan was asking us to bring back the light, bring back the energy, and bring back the magic.

We are losing the idea of our own magical abilities, we are forgetting whom we are and what we are capable of manifesting within our world.

Go ahead now and clap your hand if you still have any belief in your own ability to create the magic in your own life. If you did clap with vigor and a loud sound, please continue on with your day of creating your life the way you want to be living it.

For those of us who did not take the moment to clap, let’s continue on.

Throughout time the wise people who have accomplished the manifesting of their dreams have recognized a very important part of their Being. This part that resides in all of us is our imagination. Imagination is that magic wand within us that allows us to bring into our consciousness that which we choose to create, become, manifest and align ourselves with, to and become a part of.

Eastern mystics have been more overt in their writings with their systems of gurus and saints because one’s dwelling upon these people helps an individual to align themselves with these people who have demonstrated great love or special abilities. Most of this has been lost in the West do to the fact that Jesus has been placed on such a high pedestal that people often can’t relate to this great soul.

J. R. Newton, the great healer of the 1800s who healed 250,000 people through his ministry of love, stated that as to his power of healing, ‘it is a demonstration of the power of love. I tell someone I love them, I show them I love them, and if they believe and feel this, the disease must depart.’

Now if you believe that love has this power, then please clap your hands! Please clap your hands loudly if you want the light of love to become brighter. The testimonials for Dr. Newton’s cures were written by mayors, sheriffs, judges, lawyers and newspaper editors. They did happen! Love did find a way of curing and healing.

My post is not just about using love, it is about what you believe. It doesn’t matter about who or what group has been involved with lessening the belief in your own light, the point is that you are the one that is responsible and in charge of your own light. Clap your hands if you understand. You are the light, you are the only person that can lessen or brighten your own light.

When you become aware of whom you are and what you are capable of doing, your world will change and become what you desire. Why wait for someone else or something else to come and change your world. Imagine and create your world NOW. That’s right you have the light and power within to change your outer world. Clap your hands if you would like this to become your reality.

It is not just religious and spiritual people who have this light, it is captains of industry and others who have realized that what you desire and what you focus upon will manifest in this world. Everyone possesses the light of magic. Some people’s light shines so brightly that they just take it for granted that they will manifest whatever they desire. Others of us have lost sight of our light.

So again I ask you to clap if you believe in your own light of magic. Do you believe in your own light? How hard are you clapping now?

The Vital Vehicle

The ancient teachers believed that it was the will of nature that each person become their own physician. We all depend on others because of our lack of wisdom and understanding. By integrating our life around constructive and natural procedures, the average person will enjoy a greater amount of health and well-being.

Maintaining or restoring health comes from Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good deeds. The old Wise One’s believed that ailments begin in tension and any device or technique that reduces or removes tension was a valid therapy.

Adverse effects of tension or stress are noted first in digestion, assimilation and excretion. The body becomes toxic…a toxic body becomes poisoned…toxin in turn contributes to obstruction and the flow of natural and beneficial energies are impeded.

There is a vital essence of life that moves through not only the physical body, but there is a vital etheric counterpart called the vital vehicle.

The vital vehicle has countless streams of semi fluidic energy. When your arm or leg go to sleep it is a result of an obstruction of the vital vehicle. When a limb is amputated the etheric double remains and continues a sympathetic association with the dismembered part.

There was an account in the past of an individual who complained about his amputated leg that lay in buried in a wooden box. Upon digging up the box it was discovered that a nail in the box was stuck in the severed limb.

Energy that is derived from food is not actually always due to the digestion of a physical substance. All bodes exist because they are focal points of energy. Even medications that we use work due to the fact that they draw energy of a certain kind according to the nature of the remedy.

One of the Renaissance philosopher/physicians noted that remedies operate only within fields of suitability. A remedy given at a wrong time or to a wrong person, though the remedy was indicated as the treatment for the ailment, might fail to accomplish the desired purpose.

Preparation of food and of medicating drugs was important to many of the ancient teachers because they were careful not to destroy the energy-focus. They were against the de-nurturing of foods, over-refinement of products and they did not like adulterated products.

All energy is a life power of God and was considered sacred by the ancient teachers. Because of the love of the Creator, there is an immediate and available remedy in Nature for every in-harmony of the human flesh. Some of the remedies have not been discovered because researchers and physicians overlook natural remedies because they are too obvious and too simple.

We need to cultivate our intuitive powers as much as our analytical faculties. We must search until the proper medications of a non-destructive nature have been found for all physical ills. It was Paracelsus who said around 1520 that within every geographical area, God has provided a natural remedy within nature to address every physical ailment of humankind.

The ancient teachers believed that units of nutrition are like seeds with various layers surrounding their energy core. The body energy of sees feeds people’s body. The soul energy of seeds feeds people’s soul and the spiritual energy of seeds feeds people’s spirit.

The prime purpose of therapy is to supply a particular energy at a particular time to a particular part of the body. When the old teachers contemplated why there are imbalances in the human constitution they arrived at the following conclusions. Unhealthful attitudes, unhealthful environment and intemperance of one’s living style.

Imbalance leads to deficiencies. Although it is a common practice for many to say that their problems are due to heredity, the old wise teachers believed that one may inherit a tendency to ailments of his forbearers because of the body, but they did not believe one inherits energies deficient in themselves. All therapies should be rich in those things that will tend to build up deficient areas and neutralize imbalances.

There is a remedy for every human ill. All things in Nature are useful and benevolent in some way. All substances are of themselves good, unless they are distorted or disturbed through interference of people’s mind and emotion. That which is meat to one thing is poison to another.

Nature is the greatest cause and source of protection for ourselves. Energy patterns are eternal and energy contains within it a wonderful richness of energy that is the true food for our existence.

A story of Faith and Love

In a book that was written in the early 1900s there is an interesting story regarding faith, love and healing.

The story goes on to say that a certain spring flowed near the city of Persepolis and the people referred to it as the Healing Fount.

The people in the surrounding area all believed that at a certain day of the year their deity would come down and place a strong virtue into the water and all the people who were sick would plunge into the water at that moment and would become well.

People who were blind, lame, deaf and having other infirmities would all gather waiting for the exact moment that the healing powers would be present.

A wise prophet standing and watching what was taking place asked someone near him, “Where does the healing virtue come from and if it comes from your deity, why is it blessed one day and then the next day has no power?  A deity of power could fill these waters full of healing virtue every day.”

The prophet went on to say, “Faith is the healing power of every drop of all the waters of this spring.  He who believes with all his heart that he will be made whole by washing in this fount will be made whole when he has washed, and he may wash at any time.”

Now the people hearing this made a tremendous rush to plunge into the water and they were healed.  The prophet watched the activity of the people and noticed a little child who was weak, faint and helpless, sitting all alone.  None of the people nearby attempted to help her into the healing fount because of their haste to heal themselves.

The prophet came up to the little girl and asked why she didn’t get up and go as quickly as possible to the fount to be healed.  The little girl responded, “I need not haste; the blessings of my Father in the sky are measured not in tiny cups; they never fail; their virtues are the same for evermore.  When those whose faith is weak must haste to wash for fear their faith will fail, have all been cured, those waters will be just as powerful for me.  Then I can go and stay a long, long time within the blessed waters of the spring.”

Then the wise prophet took the little girl and lifted her up and said, “Why wait for anything? The very air we breathe in filled with the balm of life.  Breathe in this balm of life in faith and be made well.  The little child breathed in the balm in faith and was well.”

It is a beautiful little story with deep meaning.  The waters of the fount are love and as an individual immerses themselves in the faith of the power of love they will find a healing taking place.  For those who only love in particular places, with particular people, at particular times, the power of love does take place according to their belief.  But the power of love is not located in just one place at one time.  Those who recognize that love is the glue holding all things together and it is because of love that everything was created into existence, you know that , “the healing fount of love is not a little pool; it is as wide as the spaces of the heavens.”

Notes From the Journey for the Journey

In January I will be celebrating my 70th birthday.  As I have shared on some of my previous posts I have had what I consider a beautiful and magical life.  Magical from the sense that each day has been an adventure as I have found myself in various countries and with wonderful, profound and beautiful people.
Understanding that I am here in the Now and do not know what the future will be or where I might be I would like to share some of my experiences in the hope that what I have to share might be of some support and inspiration for you.

What one person can do, you all can do.  While you might not end up competing in the Olympics we all have spiritual and physical capabilities we have not unfolded.

When I was in my middle twenties I went out on a date with a young woman whom I had met.  We had a very nice lunch and she invited me back to her apartment.  She sat on a couch and I sat on a chair approximately ten feet from her.  I noticed she was getting very nervous and it actually made me feel uncomfortable and concerned for her.  I thought in my mind that I should just place my arms around her, in a non-sexual manner, and just calm her down.  In that exact instant she straightened up and said, “What did you do?”  I said, what are you talking about?  She said, “You touched me!”

She went on to explain that she felt two arms come around her and that it was real and she could feel the warmth and pressure.  This was accomplished through an elongation of an unseen aspect of our Being that you currently do not see, but that is you.

Bilocation – An individual who was in a hospital and in need of medical help resided thirty miles away from me in another city.  It was a holiday weekend and do due a scheduling error there were no doctors available to assist the older gentleman.  The nurses on staff were reluctant to go further than they were allowed due to their training.  Lying down on a sofa and then projecting over to the other city, the nurses and gentleman all stated that I had come to the hospital and worked on him while he was in his bed.  Two days later the family then took the man out of the hospital and flew him back to his home.  This was accomplished through an extension of conscious and an elongation of a part of us that is unseen but real, and a part of YOU.

Another woman who resided in San Francisco, while I was in Los Angeles, was in tremendous pain with a dental problem and needed immediate help.  She called and I told her that in 30 minutes at exactly 7 pm I would come over and assist her.  She called the next day and said that at exactly 7 pm she felt a wave of energy come over and saw my face and then she said she woke up the next morning not knowing what happened after 7 pm.  This was accomplished through not only her believing it might happen but through an elongation of an aspect within us that we all possess.

Love is involved as well as a desire to help someone in need.  Now understand that WE ALL CAN DO THIS.  YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A YOGI, TAKE EXPENSIVE COURSES OR BE GIVEN ANYTHING BY ANYONE.
Healing – We have worked with several hundred people all over the world, both in person, and at a distance.  The individuals have had everything from inoperable brain cancer tumors, to breast cancers, paralysis and individuals in comas.  When asked to assist we first get permission to come upon an individual.  In the case of individuals in comas we first come into resonance with them and ask for permission.  Sometimes we are told not to become involved as the experience is a lesson for all the people concerned. 

In the cases of healing most have been instantaneous remissions.  No matter what the individual’s condition, we see them in total perfection.  We don’t see or think about the specific area of difficulty but see the individual running, jumping, laughing, smiling, and joking.  The individual and those around them might see them with a difficulty and this is the picture that is ongoing at the time.  We create a picture of total health and if the individual and those around accept this new picture, this is what comes to pass.  In these cases my admonition is that; “I ask that the highest and best manifest for this our requestor.” I am not responsible or feel the pressure that anything must come to pass.  That is up to the individual.

In all our experiences with healing, love and a desire to be of help to a brother and sister in need is all that is needed.  YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A YOGI, SPIRITUAL GURU, OR TAKE EXPENSIVE COURSES OR BE PERFECT. Just have love and a desire to help someone in need.

Nature and Nature Spirits – These energy patterns really exist and are a part of our existence upon this planet.  Becoming in resonance with these energies you can effect weather, growth of plants and be given information from minerals, plants, trees and other aspects of nature.  They are a part of your physical body and you are already in touch with them but not ‘feeling or sensing them.’  If you need something accomplished, and it is in the highest and best and not just for your personal gain, you give a command rather than just hoping for something to transpire.  You command and then don’t keep asking or it means you are not sure that the energies are within your sway.  These energies are there to do their work and they are conscious of doing the task assigned and are effected by love.

There is a fine line between influencing, controlling, supporting and directing.  We have available in this sphere a tremendous amount of possibilities.  When Moses came down form the mountain after coming into contact with his God, he now had many possibilities open to him.  During his first encounter with the Pharaoh, he handed his staff to his brother and told him to place it on the ground.  It turned into a snake.  For visual reference you might remember The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston.  The staff turned into a white snake.  The Pharaoh told his three magicians to place their staffs on the ground. Immediately three darker snakes appeared.  Eventually the white snake consumed the three black snakes.

There are energies and abilities that are available to us all and it touches these areas is not based on your spiritual awareness or moral qualities.  Through strong intent one can touch upon the extra dimensions that are present.  The moral of the story is that the more positive uses always supersedes the less then positive.  I won’t state something is bad or good, everything down here on earth is an experience.

We will very shortly be coming into a period where even more of our natures and abilities are to be demonstrated and thereby more accessible to all people.  Some people will find it impossible to believe and not be ready in this incarnation to proceed with further development at this time.  Other people who have the awareness and understanding that it will be a time for graduation to higher spheres will understand and see that what they have been seeking has always been there within them.

My post is intended to share that nobody will be giving you something that you don’t already possess.  We have been sleeping in our cocoons and we are nearing the time that we are to take our wings and fly.  All things are possible and can be accomplished through a beautiful heart, an open mind and a humble spirit.  In love, with love and through love be kind to one another, share with one another, encourage one another and remember that there are great and beautiful spirit entities that are around you and supporting you.

Love and Beauty are Always Near

A book written some time ago shared an angelic communication regarding seeing through the veil into the world of spirit…

“A living sense of unity with nature must be reached, till you can see yourself in every tree, in every flower, in every blade of grass, in every passing cloud, and realize that the manifold diversities which compose a valley or a garden or a wide panorama of mountain, sea and sky, are but expressions of the One Self which is in you, of which you are a part, by means of which you can pierce the external veil of beauty till it can hide from you no longer the vision of the self.”

“In addition to a deeper appreciation of the beauty of Nature, there must be that reverence for all forms and moods, for all her manifold expression, which springs from a recognition of the presence of the Divine of which these forms, moods and beauties are outward expression.”

Thoreau said, “It is not what you look at, but what you see.”

A sacred scripture shared, “We do not see things as they are, we see them as we are.”

When we think and act in beauty and truth, we become expressions of the harmonious forces that keep the universe in order.

Plato said, “The true order of going is to use the beauties of earth as steps along which one mounts upwards for the sake of that other beauty.”

The Walker of the Sky, “beholds things beyond the seas and stars; hears the language of the devas and comprehends it, and perceives what is passing in the mind of the ant.”

The All is in all, and all is in the All. Forged in thought it remains in thought. All is a part of the never ending song of the Creator. You are the Light that you seek. You are a child of the Light. You don’t find it, you are it.

As you allow the Greater Awareness that has been hidden from your view to resonate with the beauty and love that surrounds you, you will experience a new dimension of understanding. Let go and allow yourself to relax and trust that the Greater Awareness within you will melt the illusions that you have formed before your eyes. “It is not what you look at, but what you see.”

Just like Pegasus, you will fly,
Reaching heights within, an inner sky,
Traveling vast distance, while in starry flight,
You learn many lessons, during your night.


Listen closely, and have no fear,
Your own loving spirit friends, are always near,
Open your heart, so that your eyes will see clear,
Then all the manifestations of the Creator, you will hold as quite dear.


If you sit quietly in a meadow, relax and with a beautiful heart, an open mind and a humble spirit, you will open yourself up to how the little blossoms follow the motions of the planets.  You will learn how some open their petals according to the phases of the moon, others to the cycle of the sun and others responding to even more distant planets.
Is it not a form of love that inspires the plants, flowers and herbs to come into resonance with the planets? 
Service to others, rather than only to self,
Brings you a bounty, of spiritual wealth,
Giving of yourself, to offer a hand,
This you should do, as you cross over the land,
 
Keep your demeanor, on an even keel,

Somewhere in Time
 
Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour starred in the 1980 move, ‘Somewhere in Time.’ In the movie, Reeve was staying in a hotel, in 1972, for some rest from overwork. While walking through the hotel, Reeve fell in love with a of a young woman’s picture, who lived in the hotel in 1912. The more Reeve thought about the woman in the picture, the more obsessed he became with her. Having come across a book written about time travel, Reeve decided to follow the instructions in the book, so he could travel back to 1912, and be with his love.

The instructions in the book included; utilizing self-hypnosis, wearing the same type of clothes worn during the desired period, wearing his hair as men did in that period, and also having some physical items from the period. He was to meditate on the image of the woman and the date that he wanted to be with her. He was using self-hypnosis to create, in his mind and awareness that she exists and he could interact with her. He was also to remove any item from his view that would remind him of his current year. In the movie, he accomplished his task.
 
Thomas Taylor (1758-1835), who has been referred to as ‘The Platonist,’ used similar techniques as the fictional book mentioned, as early as 1784. His profound interest in the ancient philosophers, especially Plato and the later Neo-Platonists; Proclus, Plotinus, Porphyry and Iamblichus, led him to take the following steps before translating their ancient works from Greek to English. While residing in England, he and his wife; dressed in Greek clothing at particular times, his wife cooked Greek food, they furnished his meditation area with Greek furniture, and he and his wife spoke only Classical Greek in their home. Then Taylor undertook his translations.

Taylor was the first to translate the complete works of Plato into English. It has been said of Taylor, “his translations were within the tradition of Plato with an understanding of its profundities unparalleled in modern times.” Several of Plato’s writings appeared to have some important lines that had been lost, Taylor’s translations seemed to complete the writings as Plato might have originally written them.

His translations were influential on William Blake, Percy Bysshe Shelley and William Wordsworth, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Bronson Alcott, and G. R. S. Mead.

In the copious notes that are attached to Taylor’s translation of Plato, Taylor shares the deeper meanings of many of Plato’s concepts. Taylor didn’t just translate words, he brought to light the essence of Plato’s thought. This was a major reason that the aforementioned individuals, and people who are involved with the study of ancient philosophy today, take time to study Taylor’s translations. A stream of deeper philosophy runs through the works of Plato that goes beyond mere words.

Thomas Taylor took his interest in the ancient philosophy, one step further than most people. He literally became one with the philosophical current that existed at the time of Plato. Taylor said that philosophy was not just a medley of thoughts, guesses or fancies of an individual. It is a real appetite, or love for the wisdom of First Principles. His emersion in the writings of Plato convinced him that one cannot expect to apprehend the philosophic insights of Plato by some hasty reading or superficial study. You can only apprehend the real essence of anything by becoming one with the object or person you study.

During the times of Plato, and the Neo-Platonists, philosophy was a way of life and not just a collection of ideas that one spoke and debated about. Philosophers walked the talk, lived the principles and it became their way of life.

“Philosophy is not an occasional or incidental pursuit, but is a living reality, permeating and directing the human energies to the extent that its principles are thoroughly grasped and assimilated.”

“In order to apprehend the interior meaning of the recondite writings of Plato and his genuine successors, which are replete with the profoundest insights, one must be emancipated himself from the thralldom of the senses - must use his spiritual eye alone, which, as it is said in the Republic, is better worth saving than ten thousand corporeal eyes.”

“For then, as Plato himself says, a light as from a fire will on a sudden be enkindled in the soul, and will then itself nourish itself.’
 
My little post is not concerned with you understanding or even reading the works of Plato.  This is not intended to be a post on ancient philosophy.  Understanding comes from just that, understanding.  “It is best not to judge an individual until you’ve walked a moon or two in that individual’s moccasins.”  Before you come to some judgement why not attempt to place yourself into the position of those you are judging?

Some American Indian tribes believe that in order to understand something you must become it. While watching a bird fly, in order to understand it, you place yourself within the bird. You imagine flying high in the sky, you look from up high for any movement on the ground. You feel the wind against your face and wings. You become for some moments, the object you contemplate, and then allow the feelings of that which you contemplate to rise up within you.
 
When you become in resonance with something, then you are attuned to it. Like attracts like and energy flows between like objects. It is one of the ancient techniques used in the mystery schools. We have the ability to align ourselves with everything in the universe and we are not bound by time, unless we constrict our own selves.

When you awaken that part within yourself that can attune to all things, then you become like a tuning fork that will resonate in kind, with that which you are seeking. All things continue to exist and are accessible throughout time.

I and My Higher Self are One

Although this phrase and Idea is not new to most of you I would like to share some of my thoughts regarding this state of awareness.

Let’s begin by looking at a concept held by some of the American Indian revelators.  It seems that they held a particular concept throughout their life.  It has to do with realizing that they are a part of whatever they are looking at and it is a part of them.  This is a concept of a unifying link.

If one looks at a shooting star they have an awareness, the feeling, that they are a part of that shooting star and it is a part of them.  When an individual can so align their awareness with this concept then wonderful experiences can happen.  As you conceive of being a part of everything and everything is a part of you then you begin raising your awareness to the point that you are in God and God is within you.

A good symbol of recognizing your enhanced awareness might be imaging a giant working at the door of a doll house.  You are beginning to transcend your physical ego and have begun seeing and operating from your Higher Self.

On my last post there was some discussion regarding awareness and feelings of various objects in nature.  It is all conjecture until you actually become in resonance with various objects.  “Individuals who would relate to Zen would understand that through their desire when it couples to their will they can discern the energy pattern of the life of a stone.”

The energy of the stone is the consideration of the immense slow continual erosion that has been associated with producing that stone of that size for a millennia.  “A Zen Buddhist them becoming that stone for a while, comes away with the feeling that the life and energy of the stone appears truly immortal.  Because in the perceived pattern of the life pattern in the stone versus his own life pattern that is so much more complicated…he realizes that if the stone lasts for eons, obviously his is going to last longer and be more effective in a relationship to others.”

As you proceed to reach this condition of operating from your own “Higher” perspective you are operating from your non-material side of your brain and you become in touch with the non-material side of your Oversoul of Higher Self.  One might say that you would then be in almost a continual meditation state.
Now if you wish to impress something upon the non-material portion of your mind, you must continue to insist, continue to talk about it, continue to keep it in the forefront of the mind.  Then the physical mind gets tired of it and the unconscious mind acts upon it.

Simplicity to a great extent is the key.  See yourself into a scenario concerning the thing that you would desire to be.  Then all the forces that would associate around your concept will come to cooperate to your efforts as you would move forward.  All forces on every level and state of awareness will help.
Don’t imagine how something is going to happen, just the desired goal you wish to manifest.  See what is to be achieved and not the how it will happen.

The way it will happen is through a dawning awareness that yes you can do it, you can be it.  There is a “Higher You” present and you are already a part of it.  It’s unfolding or the determination of what aspect of YOU is going to ‘run the show,’ is one of the reasons you are here on this plane at this time.
As you become one with his Higher Aspect of Yourself you are standing in the Glory of the Creator, the Creator of the Creation.  It is certainly a sacred state.

As you continue through a period of realization your outpouring of love is a key.  You don’t have to worry about being the best you can because when you reach this state of awareness you are aligning with the energy that created the universe.  My point here is many believe they must be perfect in order to reach this state.  Perhaps this concept would be like a carriage in front dragging the horses behind?
 
Hold a concept of being and sharing universal love toward all those you meet.

Your consideration should be first dedication and second trust.  You are associating with the Infinite.  Build up your intention and remove your earth ego in thinking something must happen this way or that way.  Call in those energies of love that surround you in the personages of your own spiritual guides and know that the love, that created all things, is with you until your final realization on this earth plane.

How Do They Have that Green Thumb?

Why is it that some people appear to have a green thumb and others do not?  Why is it that some people have almost a complete control of animals and others do not?

Why is it that some doctors and nurses seem to create a healing when they enter the hospital room even before they have dispensed any medicine?   Why do some patients relate much better to one doctor or nurse over another?

One possible explanation is that these individuals are in resonance with the archetype related to their interest or profession. 

The ancients built idols and images created in the likeness of some deity.  Despite what some people believe today, the ancients did not believe that the idol was actually doing the healing but the deity that was behind that stone, marble or metal figure was whom they were aligning with.

Our more modern interpretation, if you consider 300 BC more modern, would refer to the deities being archetypes or Principle.  “If an image was constructed with the proper skill, it became sufficient similar to the Principle for which it stood and a sympathy could now exist.  The sympathy resulted in a motion of energy from the original to the symbol and from the symbol to the receiver.”  Therefore a deity was not distant but now closer to the receiver or requestor.

The Archetype would be the ultimate pattern or form of any person, object or thing.  The ancient concept stated, “Things alike cannot be kept separate, things not alike cannot be reconciled.”  Therefore when a form comes into harmony with an archetype, there is a release of energy, from the Archetype to the form that is consistent with it.    The moment the form varies from Archetype, the sympathetic bond is broken and the energy is no longer present to the same degree. 

The uniqueness of our construction as human beings is that “within us is the sympathetic potential polarity of all things.”  We (YOU) are capable of knowing all things, being all things and attuning to all things because the roots of all seeds of all things are within YOU.

Some of the great philosophical thinkers form the past felt that in order to align to the highest of Archetypes, “An individual must come from innocence to virtue, childishness to child and then to an individual who voluntarily surrenders his opinions and realigns himself with an Archetype, or a pattern of the highest value.”

In the case of the doctor that seems to have something special about him or her, “A physician who is only a scientist is not responsive to archetype, only science.  The individual must be more than just physical, he or she must be a philosopher.  As a philosopher the individual brings in archetypal remedial ancient philosophy or Reason as part of health.  This individual now aligned with the great archetype relates now to the three natures of the self; spiritual, intellectual and physical.”

Now I am sharing with you the thoughts of individual healer/philosophers from around 2,000 years ago, but I feel that we can still gain some greater understanding from their viewpoints.
As the ancients conceived of various archetypes they established a specialized group of requirements that included;

Absolute Sincerity
Simple Honesty
Intuitive Integrity
Instinctive Ability
 
These types of personality traits released the power of the archetype.  In regards to the doctors and nurses, the doctor or nurse is the greatest medicine, not pills or shots.  The doctor is the healing balm and releases it archetypically into the body of the patient.  The ancients believed that the archetypical doctor heals by:
 
His/Her Dedication
His/Her Intellect
His/Her Intuition,
His/Her Emotions
His/Her Consciousness
 
The doctor instinctively and naturally discovers the remedy by becoming open, becoming completely dedicated to truth.  The doctor is no longer blocked by traditional knowledge or academic reputation.
 
What I am sharing above is the same for those who work with pets, grow plants or a person who becomes a lawyer, clergyman or any other profession.  Conceive of a perfectly dedicated person whose ultimate genius lies in their adjustment, harmony and sympathetic alignment to the archetype of their subject or interest.
 
“If any human character or temperament identifies its conduct with archetype, it them becomes a container or reservoir of energy from the archetype.”  “We exist in a material universe supported upon a magnificent framework of universal principles manifesting as radiant blossoms or archetypes.”
 
Can you image what the perfect archetype would be in your field of interest, line of work or someone you would admire as a teacher or leader?
 
I have taken some free license from the old writings by substituting the word individual or His/Her where they have written Man or Him in some of the old quotes.  But rest assured that these beacon lights from the past recognized both women and men in their writings.  So I take responsibility for alterations like these in some of the quotes.

Comprehending the Light Within

People are visible to us, we can touch them, listen to them speak, take a photographic reproduction, but what do we know about the person? How much do these things actually tell us about the person?

In reality, a person is actually a ‘being’ that is unknown in his total manifestations. We can only estimate those parts of a person which are within the gamut of sensory perception that we utilize.
It is the same with many elements in nature, we only know their outward characteristics but not their inner substances or the laws that they follow.

“All elements are essentially invisible. The visible parts that we see are merely extensions into compounds that we call form.”

“We cannot follow some of the parts that extend into greater dimensions so we assume we are surrounded by space. Space is a reservoir of dimensions.”

The ancients believed that aspects of the elements of nature exist beyond our dimensional awareness. We don’t just live in 3-dimensions, but infinite dimensions. The ancient schools of higher learning believed that human beings are hypnotized in believing they are bound by three dimensions and the focus of their teaching was to assist their students to breakthrough to other dimensions.

There are forms beyond our 3-dimensions which we cannot capture but they do exist. T.V. and radio waves move through us. These waves have an existence and integration beyond our limited sensory comprehension.

The more enlightened individuals from the past believed that human beings already possess mechanisms that would allow for the extension of our consciousness into the multi-dimensional universe.

“We don’t really see because our comparative ignorance of the subjective is due to our hypnotic addiction to the objective.”

We have directed and trained our faculties only in one direction. Our senses do not take in a full area of what they ultimately are capable of, which they might be able to ascertain, had they adequate instruction.

“Small children retain a certain capacity to penetrate dimensions as well as primitive people. Primitive people are closer to nature and they are not conditioned to sophisticated intellectualism. Primitive peoples always insist on the sub-mundane beings or creatures existing within the elements.”

We only view the surfaces of things and are assessment is going to be based upon the quality of our observation. Our limited perception, which also may be faulty, cannot observe depths nor grasp beyond our five senses.

In most cases we only learn trivia, whether it is our observation of people or in our observance of the universe, we do not see the causes which are not visible, apparent or immediately available.

Something interesting to consider…there are as many living parts within an individual’s human body as there are on the earth around the individual. There are millions, perhaps billions of minute units living within the human body.

Some ancient teachers believed that Humans are an order of life, not merely cells within a body, but a vast government, a hierarchy of internal structure. “They believed that there were not only gods in the heavens, there were gods within human beings. There are not only hierarchies in the universe but hierarchies within the organic structure of an individual.”

“Within the cellular, atomic and electronic structure of people, there is law, order, government, republic, democracy, dictatorship and tyranny. Every form without is found within.”

Just as storms may damage people’s property; moods, tempers, fits, hate and other emotions can disturb the psychic interior of a person’s atmosphere. So you see, you cannot always recognize just from the outside appearance of an individual, which form of government is in ascendancy within their internal kingdom. From just a cursory view from the outside you don’t know what is the driving force, thought or motivation that resides within that physical conveyance?

When we look at something or someone we see either its objective physical form or we perceive its light. Everything that lives, lives in light. Everything that exists, radiates light. All things derive their life from light because within light is life itself.

There is:

Spiritual light
Emotional light
Mental light
Vital light and
Physical light.

You can perceive things either according to their outward nature or according to their inward nature or light. We are used to perceiving things by just using our outer senses but we can learn to perceive things by our inner senses. “The heart has eyes as well as the body. The mind has ears and all internal parts of people have equivalent senses of cognition.”

Messages conveyed to each one of the body natures comes “either from light, which is the source of the energy that conveys, or from the working of light operating upon any level or plane.”
We see the life within nature because of light that shines within it; we see nature because of the light that shines upon it.

And of course the key is…by observation we behold things lighted, by intuition we behold things self-luminous. Intuitively we behold the true inner light of all creatures and substances; outwardly we see only the reflection of light upon creatures and substances by which they are visible to our sight.

I surround you with the highest and best with love, in love and through love.

Is Your Door Closed or Open?

If you place a person in a room, close all the windows and doors, the individual will generally kill himself by poisoning the atmosphere around him.  The individual in the room will suffocate as a result of the poison that he breathes into the air around him.  If there is no way the air can be purified he will suffocate in the end from the lack of oxygen.

Now most people would initially blame the atmosphere itself by saying the air is bad, not realizing until they take some moments to remember some of the science they learned in school that they are poisoning their own atmosphere.  So in order to have fresh live-giving air, there must be adequate ventilation.

Human feelings when they are kept in the same confined place, where freedom of ventilation is not possible will poison one to death; the individual who blocks the circulation of any part of nature, draws a circle of enclosure around their mind.  Following the old axiom; as above, so below, as below so above, one can understand that whenever a line of limitation is created to set aside or limit any area in which we live, it will ultimately poison and start a process of decay within an individual.

It is absolutely necessary that the atmosphere around an individual be kept in circulation and the individual live in the largest possible atmosphere.  What provides the largest possible atmosphere?  NATURE!

“To protect themselves against inclement weather, people build habitations for themselves.  In the same manner people;

Build their way of life
Build their policy of thinking
Build their religions and Creeds
Build their attitudes and prejudices.”
 
The activities I listed above are all natural and seem to be a part of human nature.  We are protecting ourselves against something outside of ourselves, against some collective atmosphere that we find disagreeable.
 
In the process of building these structures, if you leave doors and windows closed, one will finally stifle the self with their own poison and die while blaming the atmosphere.  The average person grows older closing windows and doors of their own mind. 
 
Nations, races and communities can suffocate themselves by closed doors.  That which is closed leads to death.  We can find closed doors with;
 
A closed mind
A closed heart,
A nation closing itself off through building borders and
Political systems that become too isolated.
 
All of the above deprive a body and psyche of natural circulation.
 
One of the old philosophers discovered that the greatest magical agent for health was a mysterious and intangible thing called the Human Will.  He found that those individuals that had the Will to do, the Will to Be, the Will to expand their borders; the people who had intense purpose or intense purposefulness in life, could successfully face almost any difficulty that was presented in life and that they were almost always the heathiest of individuals.

“An individual could believe in anything and die of anything, but the moment one believed anything, enough to do anything about it, the mysterious transition between the static state, (closed doors), and the dynamic state began.
 
These two states, static with limited circulation and dynamic with its more encompassing action was the keys to a persons’ health and well-being.  The key is an individual’s own action and this means a person’s contribution to their own way of life.  “Where an individual’s life actions gave strength, the individual became strong.  When an individual has only bitterness, contention and weakness in the faith that life is good, that people are good and they believe that the world is ‘out to get them,’ there is no escape from the final judgement of nature.”
 
Perhaps you might think that the following idea from ancient times is just this, ancient and not valid today.  Some old physicians and philosophers believed that, “health is a body cleansed of falseness in some way.  Sickness is a corruption of some kind.”  All sickness is in some way due to a poison. 
 
An old adage stated, “One needs more than common intelligence to know who he is, only the individual who studies himself properly and knows from when he comes and who he is, will give profound attention to the eternal.”  “Everything that a person does and has to do, he should do by the light of nature, for the light of nature is nothing other than reason itself.”
 
You should not judge people according to their physical stature, but honor them all equally.  “What can be learned by individuals is not properly called learning, because everything is prefigured even in the child; it must only be awakened and summoned forth by the individual.  If you awaken the stonecutter in a person, they will be a stonecutter, if you awaken the ability to make shoes, one will become a shoemaker; and if you summon forth the scholar in a person, they will become a scholar.  This is because all potentialities are inherent within human beings.  What you awaken comes forth, the rest remains un-awakened, absorbed in sleep. We are born to be awake, not to be asleep.”

Faith Healing, Prayer and Energy Medicine

In the ancient temples of healing the priest/physicians knew how to direct their own mental energy through a conformity with laws of structure, in which they could stimulate or vitalize the magnetic fields surrounding the various organs or psyche of their patients.

This was more than just a good thought method but rather they believed in the scientific directing of conscious thought that acted as specifically as our pharmaceutical products today.

In the far, far, far past the priest/physician was able to devise prescriptions, just like a physician today would give a written prescription, using mental energy which was directed to the patient.

Now an important factor with energy is faith.  There are some people who when they hear that word faith, they don’t believe that what is taking place has anything to do with science…but there is a science to the actions that take place through faith and mentalism.

A miracle is just a scientific fact that is unknown at this time.  Now faith healing works and operates according to a distinct pattern of laws, the most important being that the patient or receiving individual becomes receptive.

Faith and belief can be tranquilizing powers.  A little faith can be as good as a sleeping tablet.  “Under faith, a person ceases to fight, they often become more patient and the individual places himself psychologically in the care of something other than himself.  Placing one’s care in a higher aspect can be very important in the healing process.

Through faith, a sick individual ceases disobeying and fighting and no longer blocks the psychic fields of energy because of the tension and pressure they’ve placed upon themselves.  The patient now becomes open and available to remedies of all kinds.”

One of the secrets of the effectiveness of medication is that the person through the action of the medication overcomes their disposition of anxiety and fear which has been interfering with their health.  If the product is not too terribly detrimental with other side effects, the individual’s own innate healer does the rest.

Prayer produces much the same results as faith, except that faith is a receptive believing whereas prayer is a “more positive or objecting statement of conviction.”

The prayer attitude, the prayer formula, “the visualization in word, symbol or a strong belief, sets up vibrations which adjust to and associate with magnetic fields within and surrounding the human body.”
A positive statement of prayer has a vibratory positive rate which is therapeutic because it carries with it devotion, this is a subconscious sense of sublimity and restoration. Negative vibrations move in one direction and positive vibrations in the opposite direction.  When these vibrations clash it tends to neutralize or destroy each other’s effectiveness temporarily upsetting a weakened structure within an individual.

Whenever we have cross vibrations, we have a depletion of energy.  “Each human being is to be his own physician.  An individual becomes a physician for himself by keeping the law and holding such attitudes as to preserve the integrity of the magnetic fields within and surrounding the body.”

What is the law?  No vibration of a negative nature can injure a positive vibration because a positive vibration is true and never can be anything else.  But a negative vibration is established and set up due to the fact of the compound nature of our Being and we cut ourselves off from the positive vibrations.

We are spirit, we were originally created in perfection, but like some ships in the ocean, we have collected barnacles on our outer hull during our sojourns.  Standing in your own presence and understanding what is meant by carrying your own perfection within yourself; and when this is believed and becomes the ascendant concept within your thought stream, will lead to seemingly miraculous results for you and those you interact with during the living.

Anything that prevents the adequate flow of energy must be watched with the greatest care.  Energy flows take place be means of a vital etheric energy vehicle that carries tiny streams of energy.  When your arm goes to sleep, it means that the etheric magnetic fields has separated temporally from the physical structure.  The physical structure is temporarily without energy nutrition of a certain kind.

“All energy is not cut off because all energy is not in the etheric vehicle.  It is cut off temporarily and return of this energy field, which must break through the skin to return to its present or normal situation causes the prickling that accompanies the awakening of a sleeping arm or leg.”

Obstruction in a localized area is a process of death which can lead to the whole body being destroyed.  A gangrene finger can lead to the whole body dying.

The bottom line is that everything involves some action of energy.  Whether it is physical movement or mental activities, whether it is faith healing or prayer, energy is always present.  Why not resonate with positive energy through your thoughts, words and deeds?

Of course the ultimate energy carrier is LOVE.  When you walk in love, express in love, be in love, you are resonating with the highest of positive energy fields.

Do you have the time or space to receive?

A young seeker, keen to become the student of a certain master, is invited to an interview at the master’s house.  The student rambles on about all his spiritual experience, his past teachers, his insights and skills, and his pet philosophies.  The master listens silently and begins to pour a cup of tea.  He pours and pours, and when the cup is overflowing he keeps right on pouring.  Eventually the student notices what’s going on and interrupts his monologue to say, “Stop pouring!  The cup is full.”  The teacher says, “Yes, and so ae you.  How can I possibly teach you?”

There must be an inner state of openness and from here it is possible to receive anything.   Do you have the time or the space within, to consider the following ancient teachings that was a part of the ancient teachings from the Mystery Schools and restated in the Gospel of Thomas?

“When you are able
To make two become one,
The inside like the outside,
And the outside like the inside,
The higher like the lower,
So that a man is no longer male,
And a woman, female,
But male and female
Become a single whole;
When you ae able to fashion
An eye to replace an eye,
And form a hand in place of a hand,
Or a foot for a foot,
Making one image supersede another
-then you will enter in.”
 
We do not dissolve our lower nature, it is not warfare, we integrate the energy of the animal nature to a higher state of awareness that has always been with us because it is us. 
Be in beauty, walk in beauty, share in beauty and love in beauty.

Which Hemisphere is Driving Your Vehicle to Your Destination?

For those seeking to align themselves with their Higher Self, Overself, Oversoul or God-Self, whatever you choose to call it, one needs to get the activity of the left brain out of the way.  It has been very busily giving orders that is believed to be true by the right brain and there is then a manifestation of what is believed to be true and it will continue to be so until it is proven to it that it is not true.

For some people this takes place when the mind-set of a person has reached the point where the ego has given up and there is an awareness that they cannot do it themselves.  When a person reaches this particular point, this is when a person can begin to accomplish great things.  This is because now their ego is not in the way; their personal identity is not in the way and one becomes associated more with the life force that is part of the creativeness that actually created them.

Once you become in contact with this Higher Aspect within yourself you can say, I and the Father are becoming one.  By desiring to align yourself with the Deity, by going within yourself and finding your link with the Creator and becoming one with that essence you are then aligned and have access to all of the creativeness that abides within the universe.

Now an additional key to reaching this Higher State is to do something that the American Indian, as well as many Eastern cultures do, and that is no matter what one observes, it is necessary that he becomes a part of whatever it is, and has the knowledge that it is a part of him.  This is the link.  One looks at a shooting star and has the awareness, the feeling of being a part of that shooting star.

This is the aspect that makes it possible to have wonderful connections and experiences.  When you have the awareness of your part of the ecology and being within it you open yourself up to greater wisdom and enlightenment.  This is an expansion of yourself into all things that you look to align yourself with and then seek to be one with your God by going within the self and desiring to become one with the Deity… you then come to the realization that you are a part of God and God is always with you.

When one looks at Zen you realize that you can discern the energy pattern of the life of a stone.  A Zen Buddhist becomes the stone for a while and comes away with the feeling that life and energy behind life is truly immortal.

When you wish to impress something upon the non-material portion of your mind, you must continue to insist what your target is and what you wish.  I and my Father/Mother are One.  You must continue to insist, continue to talk about it and continue to keep it in the forefront of your mind.  Then the physical mind gets tired of it and the unconscious mind acts upon it.

See or set yourself into a scenario concerning the thing you would desire to be.  Then all the forces that would associate around your concept will come to cooperate to your efforts and you will move forward to your goal.  All the forces on every level and state of awareness will be present to assist you.

What is taking place is you are going from the material aspect of your being, through the quasi-material, from the quasi-material into the lower creative level of your spirit and then at the same time activating Higher Forces that would be associated with the capability of producing the thing that you are desiring to manifest. 

Don’t imagine how something is going to happen, just the desired goal you wish to manifest.  So-called miracles are available for ALL of you if you only know and will ask within yourself.  You must have the wisdom and the patience to wait for your desire to manifest.  The timing for manifestation is relative to the strength of your knowing that it will and must happen.

Learn to see the goodness within yourself and others and bypass the badness that you believe exists in yourself and others.

The energy of creation is always here and collects as an association to a kinetic pool of creativity.  It was there before this planet manifested and it continues to be here now.  All things are possible.

Another manner of reaching the desired state of attunement with the Higher Aspects is through your loving kindness and the desire to be of benefit to all people as well as all life forms that exist upon the earth.  Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “The best use of life is to spend it for something that outlasts it.”

The Butterfly and Healing

In perusing writings from some of the great healers from the past, they all tended to demonstrate some of the same principles and attributes.

Most of these men and women exhibited the precepts of Loving your neighbor and doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.  Now of course these words seem to be very simplistic and have been known throughout the ages but the more successful healers did not just espouse these thoughts, they lived and embodied these thoughts.

Most healers recognize that when a person desires to be healed and comes freely, of their own will, we are almost certain to heal them, regardless of the disease they might have; but if they are brought, or really do not desire to healed because they have gotten to the state that they don’t believe they can be helped, most healers might not perhaps succeed.

Most of the highly successful healers had/have a strong Will-Power and feel that the ‘Power’ is with them.  That ‘Power’ is an emanation of the Divine Mother-Father.  Successful Healers know that the spirit is within them and also that each and every person that they come in contact with contains an emanation from the Divine Source that can be activated and intensified leading to a healing taking place.

One successful healer from the past said, “I endeavor to live such a life as to have confidence in myself and I have the evidence that when I speak to an assembly I carry the magnetic force and principle with the words I speak, so that each one shall FEEL in the recesses of his individual soul that I practice what I teach.”

So how is this ‘Power’ developed, where does it come from?  The key is those simple words that we mentioned at the beginning of my message.  Love each and every person that resides within your neighborhood.  The more profound healers recognize their neighborhood encompasses everyone on the planet.  Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.  The more love, beauty, happiness and peace that you would like to receive within your life, you must put forth towards all of your neighbors. 

Once you have lived the aforementioned precepts are you then given the ‘Power.’  No it is not given to you, it has evolved from within you like the transition of a caterpillar to a butterfly.

Now some healers from the past have described this ‘Power’ as feeling like a magnetic force.  “I would be ashamed, if I was a speaker or preacher, to address an audience and have some of them go to sleep because of a want of magnetic force.”  “One must have faith in himself and his ‘Power’ to have this influence; and whenever someone has this faith, REAL AND TRUE FAITH, the can accomplish any and all things.”

The use of the word magnetism or magnetic force should not be considered as just a blind or trite term.  It was a manner of expressing a strong pull or force that could be felt.  One healer stated, “I say I heal, but it is not me, it is the Divine Mother/Father that resides within me and that dwells within you just the same within me.  We are one common brotherhood, children of one common Parents and we ought to love one another.  If we could just all realize how we are spiritually connected.”

“This magnetism of love passing from one to another is an influence that is felt by susceptible persons.  There is not one here present, but feels that I have love toward him, there is not one but feels there is in my expression, sincerity.  I know that we are ever molding our faces in expression by our thoughts, deeds and motives.”

“I hold that the purer the life, the better the healer will be.”  “If there is anyone here who wishes to be a healing medium, let him or her go to the sick and feel a good faith, with a strong, positive Will-Force, feel that all are your brothers, sisters and children; and they will be healed by the touch, when conditions be right they will be cured.”  Now it is not necessary that a person must physical touch another person to activate the ill person’s inner healer, the magnetic force or ‘Power’ can reach any distance, go through any substance and still maintain the same strength.

One healer from the past stated that thoughts are like the aroma of a rose.  You cannot see that aroma, but you can smell it.  Thoughts permeate our atmosphere as an aroma and so we can be influenced by both positive and less than positive thoughts.  “So we can think of a friend or foe with kind thoughts and good will, and desire to do them good and you WILL do them good and make them happy, or by thinking ill of them make them unhappy.  Each one of you has the power to throw off a bad magnetism of anger, hatred or revenge.  Do not do this, for what you sow, that you shall also reap, for these influences will all come back to you again.”

So perhaps now it makes sense that when you live a life of good will, sending love to all of your neighbors, treating each and every person as you would like to be treated…you create this beautiful atmosphere around your own self, your caterpillar morphs into a butterfly that has the ability to influence, heal and bring joy to others throughout the world.  I have chosen the example of the butterfly because those individuals who truly carry and emanate the ‘Power’ also have a lightness of spirit.  They flow effortlessly upon the loving currents of our Divine Parents and they can heal others with just a glance, thought and just being within their presence many people are healed.

All of you can become the beautiful butterfly that you are meant to become.  Living life with a Beautiful Heart, an Open Mind and a Humble Spirit; loving all of your neighbors and treating each and every person that you meet in the same manner in which you would like to be treated, enlivens your ‘Being’ and you then attain the “Power’ to accomplish all things.  In your faith that what I have shared is true, you shall know the truth, become the truth and all things will then become possible for you.

You Already Possess That Which You Seek.

In very ancient times there were three formulas that were used to manifest that which one desires.  They were stated as the formula for idealization, the formula for affirmation and the formula for actualization.  In more modern times, if we consider the 1500s as more modern, Paracelsus stated it as imagination, faith and will.

The concept is to create within your thoughts the highest and best ideal form, pattern, design or mold, whatever is the easiest for you to conceive, of that which you desire to bring into our objective reality.
The clearer that you define the ideal, outline and form that you wish to produce in physical form, along with your energizing the need for it to exist or manifest, along with your sure knowledge that it is necessary and you Will have it, it will tend to materialize.

Why will something materialize out of nothingness?  From the earliest times the ancient teachers have stated that there is a “supersensible and real cosmic medium that exists, which interpenetrates, influences and supports the tangible and apparent world, and which is amenable to the categories of both philosophy and physics.  This ‘cosmic medium’ or ‘astral light’ is close to what is termed ether.”

Now this ether is used by those who have achieved, what is considered magical activities, through their imposing upon this cosmic medium, their own thought and will, as easily as one might impose their energy upon things we can physically see.

Following the concept of ‘as above, so below; as below, so above,’ the wise have used this concept to create between the seen and the unseen worlds.

Through the creation or building of an ethereal pattern, outline, design or mold, it tends to attract to itself, and to build around itself a materialized counterpart or material representation in the physical world.  When you look to create something upon our physical plane, you attract persons, conditions, things and modify environmental factors that aid in the process of manifesting that which you desire.  What you might not realize is that something was taking place in a corresponding etheric level.   In actuality it was taking place first in the unseen world before you manifested it in the physical world.

The unseen world is actually the underpinning of all that you see, feel and experience.  What is probably the hardest thing for most people to conceive is how they have control over both the seen and unseen worlds.  The equilibrium or manifestation in both the unseen and seen can be controlled by the disciplined ‘Thought and Will of men and women.’

What is considered as magic by most people is little more than a mental discipline of strengthening and learning to focus your OWN WILL POWER.  It has been known through thousands of years, ‘Just as the powers of the body can be developed to an amazing extent by athletes, so may the power so the soul be likewise developed through learning how to Will.’

It was stated by one of the greatest physicists that everything exists within the ‘thought stream of God.’  Through the extension of the concept, as below so above and as above so below, the ancient mystery schools taught that Humankind, the microcosm, may proceed to create by means of the deliberate employment of the same methods and processes, and through the same principles ‘as those employed by Nature , or the Cosmos, the macrocosm.

When you think about our human creations here on earth, whatever you observe, first it was conceived within the thought or idea of an individual.  Then it became manifest within our physical world.
I would leave you with this thought…science has come around to the thought, although their thinking is not quite complete, that there is a universal ether, an immaterial, imponderable substance similar to what ancient philosophers termed the Akasha.  The concept is that this ether pervades all space and it is the ultimate state of condition of all materiality.

“The Ether is a substance filling all space, carrying in its infinite throbbing bosom the specks of aggregated dynamic forces called worlds.  It embodies the ultimate spiritual principle, and represents the unity of those forces and energies from which sprang, as their source, all phenomena, physical, mental, and spiritual as they are known to us.”  We all have been given the ability to create and demonstrate our ability to utilize creative energy as provided to us by the Creator.

I carry a coin from 200 BC, depicting in ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus.  Janus is the god of beginnings, gates, transitions, time, duality, doorways, passages, and endings. He is usually depicted as having two faces, since he looks to the future and to the past. 

The All is in all, and all are in the All.  You who read these words are capable of everything that you might conceive.  Janus is within us and within us is everything that has been and will be.

Are they Geniuses or Really Good Listeners?

As you peruse the biographies of individuals, the world would call the greatest of geniuses, you find a very interesting dynamic.  These individuals credited their amazing discoveries, inventions, poetry, music and ideas to either an inner guide or to their dreams.

Robert Louis Stevenson describing his inner guides said, “…and for the Little People, what shall I say they are but just my Brownies, God bless them!  Who do one-half my work while I am fast asleep, and in all human likelihood, do the rest for me as well, when I am wide awake and fondly suppose I do it for myself.”

Puccini stated, “…the music of Madam Butterfly was dictated to me by God; I was merely instrumental in putting it on paper and communicating it to the public.”

Goethe said of his writing of the novel, Werther, “I wrote the book almost unconsciously, like a somnambulist, and was amazed when I realized what I had done.”

William Blake said of his work, Milton, that “I have written this poem from immediate dictation, twelve or sometimes twenty or thirty lines at a time, without premeditation, and even against my will.”

Richard Strauss, said, “While the ideas were flowing in upon me, the entire musical, measure by measure, it seemed to me that I was dictated to by two wholly different Omnipotent Entities…I was definitely conscious of being aided by more than an earthy Power, and it was responsive to my determined suggestions.”

Brahms said, “I have to be in a semi-trance condition to get such results – a condition when the conscious mind is in temporary abeyance, and the subconscious is in control.”

“The English poet Shelley declared that ‘One after another the greatest writers, poets and artists confirm the fact that their work comes to them from beyond the threshold of consciousness.’”

The 1936 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine was awarded to Otto Loewi, who discovered and demonstrated that nerve impulses are both chemical and electrical in nature.  The experimental procedure to prove his theory came to him in a dream.

Rudyard Kipling stated that he had an ‘inner helper’ who he could get into contact with if he did not think consciously about reaching him but rather drifted toward him.

Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869 “…went to bed exhausted after struggling to conceptualize a way to categorize the elements of nature based upon their atomic weights.  He later said, ‘I saw in a dream a table where all the elements fell into place as required.  Awakening, I immediately wrote it down on a piece of paper.’”

Elias Howe worked for years to invent a lockstitch sewing machine.  For years his attempts were futile.  Due to a ‘nightmare,’ as he defined it, he was shown exactly how to build the device that he sought for so long.  “He dreamed he was captured by a tribe of savages who took him prisoner before their king.  ‘Elias Howe, ‘roared the monarch, I command you on pain of death to finish this machine at once.”  Within the dream he was given the answer that he needed.

According to the poet Keats, “the description of Apollo in the third book of my poem, Hyperion, came to me by chance or magic – to be, as it were, something given to me.”

Obviously the names I have mentioned have been recognized as great innovators, trail blazers and individuals of great genius.  They are recognized as great due to their contributions in their various fields.  But would they have been considered great if they had not made their discoveries, composed their music or written their books?  Perhaps and perhaps not!

There are hundreds of more examples of individuals who perceived through dreams, visions and help from within, information that has thrust them into the category of genius.  I am proposing that some of them were just great listeners.

In my late twenties after I would awake during the night from a dream I would hear poetry.  I keep a legal size pad next to my bed and without opening my eyes I would write down what I would hear.  Some of the poetry is 24 lines long.  I have never rewritten any words as they were dictated to me.  If you are curious you can find some of my poetry at www.lesscomplicated.net  I am fully aware of the two different entities that have given me the words as each has their own particular subject and style.

I also have over 5 thick books of dreams that I have recorded over the last 15 years.  I wish that I had kept my dream journals from my late twenties through late forties.  My dreams answered questions that I was pondering during the day; gave me commentary on the lives of people from the past or present; foretold future events and inspired me toward my healing work.

So, I am not just sharing stories of people from the past, I can tell you that all of this is possible. 

Some of the individuals that I mentioned were seeking the answer to some question while others stated that they weren’t particularly searching for anything but received information.  So, what about YOU!

Why not YOU!  I believe, although I am biased, that our group is very spiritual, loving, beautiful and talented.  If you have been with me for the last couple of years you know that I continue to share with you that all things are possible.  All things are possible and you don’t need gurus, special courses or secret symbols to achieve wonderful results.  So now I coming to you with an easy approach…how about just listening.

If you realize that this is possible then it will manifest for you.  You can place your question in your mind and now you know you will get the answer if you believe and just listen.  Hopefully you will now understand that if you weren’t meant to have this happen to you that you would not be reading my lines.  I am here to awaken this concept in YOU. 

Why not YOU?  Yes, your guides and dreamers will work with you.  In fact, they have always been working with you but you were not listening.  By the way, in my last post I mentioned about sitting quietly for twenty minutes during the day.  Just drifting off, relaxing and listening then will work for you.

“Don’t Bite My Finger.  Look Where I Am Pointing”

The inner secret of every mystery cult and the inner meaning of the words of every great teacher upon this plane has been to become aware of our highest potential, to understand that we can remember more of who we are.

There is another part of yourself that dwells just beyond your ordinary consciousness, some call it a supra-consciousness, an Overself or an Oversoul.

When we come into a life we are hypnotized from infancy by our environment and culture, into certain beliefs, attitudes, systems and practices that have been fostered upon us by individuals who have not had contact with this deeper aspect within themselves.

The reading of scripture or sacred texts, while enlightening and potentially empowering, is not a replacement for the actual practice of becoming in touch with this higher aspect within yourselves.

A famous neurophysiologist, Warren McCulloch was known to say, “Don’t bite my finger.  Look where I am pointing.”

While some people are stating that a wave of spiritual awareness has come to the earth plane in these last several years, I would ask, ‘what does the term spiritual awareness really mean?’

I would suggest that we are hypnotized by routines that we want to believe make us spiritual.  Attending places of worship for one day a week and then acting in manners that are contrary to what we read, is this acting in a spiritual manner?  In today’s world that appears to be little life in the documents that we label as our spiritual literature, the true life is only in our actions in resonance with the scriptural words.

As you become hypnotized by the political climate and religious figures who act contrary to the highest morality and teachings in sacred scripture, and you accept their actions because of who you think they are, you move further away from your own inner truth.  When you begin to make excuses for those who you follow in the religious, political and social areas, you move further away from your own center of knowing.

Every great teacher, philosopher and enlightened guide has pointed to the pathway of your going inside and having a direct contact with your Creator God.  Within you, you will find the answers that you seek and not from those who talk a good story but don’t walk their talk.

For me, spiritual awareness is the recognition of a spiritual realm that is the underpinning of this physical reality that we are experiencing.  Those enlightened individuals, who periodically come to the earth plane, and live lives as examples of the highest aspects of love, truth, beauty, compassion, brotherhood and selflessness show us what it means to have spiritual awareness.

Wearing a robe, holding a sacred book and preaching does not make one a spiritual or even an enlightened being.   How you talk, how you walk, how you act and the light that shines from your being is more of an indication of how close one is to that highest aspect that resides within themselves.  That light within you has a closer connection to your source than your physical consciousness has at this moment.

Some of you have commented how much you like the positive and loving aspects of my posts.  I have not discussed politics or discussed current events but continue to point out higher potentials and what more is possible.  It is in this vein that I am writing these words to you.

You are getting too involved with the drama of the show.  Instead of observing and recognizing there is a higher purpose for what is taking place at this time in the world, you have fallen into someone else’s script and become their actor.

We have come into the schoolroom to demonstrate how we use our creative energies.  We have been given the opportunity to demonstrate, love, compassion, truth, beauty, selflessness and to understand that everything, and that means everything on this planet, is interrelated.  Exemplary individuals, throughout history, have demonstrated to us the highest spiritual precepts we are capable of attaining.

You have the choice to do whatever you please; to think and act in every situation as you feel is necessary and true to your character.  This is free choice.  While the religious texts have not lost their examples and true meaning, we are beginning to lose sight of the spiritual essence behind the words.  Our modern interpreters do not really understand what they are talking about.  They are bending and twisting and interpreting based on their own limited understanding and beliefs.

The surest way to understanding is to go within the closet of your own being; make contact with your own innermost spiritual essence and break this hypnotic trance that seems to be so prevalent.  Might is not right, power is not truth and the one with the most money is not necessarily the one with the highest spiritual insight.

My love for you and purpose for writing this post is that you don’t listen to others because of who they say they are or what position they hold, but that you go within and recognize your own highest truth.  Does it make sense that your sacred book might say to love all people and treat all as you would like to be treated and yet an interpreter of that book casts away everyone that doesn’t believe as he or she does?  Trust yourself and know that the highest truth is within you and act within that truth.

Take some time for introspection.  Take some time to sit quietly and ask yourself are you acting at the highest and best that you know is possible?  Are you occupied so much with what is taking place in the world, that you can’t sit still for twenty minutes per day in quietude, without your mind reliving or planning discussions with friends and loved ones over why your politics are right and why your particular religion is the only outlet for God’s plan on earth?

Again, “Don’t bite my finger, but look where I am pointing.”  I love all of the modern conveniences and tools that we have at this time, but they are just that…tools.  Instead of having more time for the appreciation of the beauty, love and our kinship with all life, which is part of the Creation, we are more stressed, unhappy and locked into a life of having to pay for our tools.  How many people do you know, that you can say they are truly happy, content and in joy?

Don’t be hypnotized by other people’s political or religious beliefs; don’t succumb to the belief that only science can provide the truth; that modern conveniences mean you have attained your highest purpose on earth; and don’t give up your moral compass because someone you admire is off course and you need to justify that they are right.  Go within yourself and humbly wait in silence and you will feel a warmth and eventually a spiritual presence within a light, that will become your true guide, friend, teacher and Father/Mother.

At these times of great outer conflict, confusion and misunderstanding, there resides within yourself a place of peace, harmony, love, beauty and greater guidance.
