The Macrocosm and the Microcosm
Thank you for your wonderful notes on messenger. I am still around.
All things have their places and we sometimes forget that the Creator provides for all animals, plants and minerals. While all elements have their own essences all things are tied together in the immense dance of life.
People carry within them a spark, a ray from the fire alter of the infinite. Within each of us is a ‘spiritual darkness of night’ an unseen field from which all of the real energy that supplies our existence pours forth.
Within this dark or unknown aspect within us are unexplored dimensions of matter, time and space.
Within this dark aspect of the unknown that provides energy that feeds us, is the same energy that feeds the stars for we have within us a ‘constellation of luminous points of tiny suns gleaming and glowing.’
If we could really see clearly and understand what we see, these luminous points of tiny glowing lights within us, is actually what we would call our spirit, a vast constellation of Divine Lights.
This spirit within, with all it magnificent patterns of suns, lights and patterns follows Divine laws and rules and there is a Divine Mathematics present that is a miniature reflection of the sky at night.
When we gaze outwards and see the stars in the sky we use our regular or ordinary vision, but if we gazed inward and looked at the dark sky within, we would also see an infinite number of constellations and patterns. When you learn to look within you no longer wonder about the mystery without.
This is where the true meaning of the macrocosm and the microcosm originated. This is why it was stated that the heavens and earth are in human beings. Those who have learned to turn their gaze within understand that there exists a vast number of constellations. Viewing within we see movable objects, spark suns, rotating, revolving, moving and supplying their energy to the planets, which they bring into generation and new form.
Just as the sky around us is filled with suns that we observe through a solar spectroscope, in each of us are stars and patterns that together “form the jewels of our spirit.”
Each sun we see in the sky above is an instrument for a purpose, each has around it planets which have been formed according to their needs and laws. Each speck of light you see is a sun and has the potential of having planets as the Creation continues to move ever onward. So each sun within Human Beings is capable of having a planetary family moving about it.
That is to say, that as people perfect themselves, acting from the highest of benevolent actions, a family of planets are formed within, mirroring the unfolding expression of one’s own life.
As the spirit of people comes from the energy beyond the stars, the soul of people comes from the planets. The soul of our life is like a planetary system, moving around the matchless alter of our own great spiritual sun which resides within. If we could really examine what takes place in the sky around us, we would realize that what we call our one great sun consists of an infinite grouping of luminous ‘blazing units.’
All suns have their common life or common field and have come from a common source. They all have an aspect of pro-creativity and when they become a blazing center of life, when they bring forth their highest essence from within, they then create their own planetary family around them.
Planets exist within space but still depend upon the light of their source sun, which they reflect. The human soul reflects the light of the spirit because it is a reflector of life. Most of us do not understand what is taking place and assume that what we are familiar with is the source of our life and light. Our soul and ego are no more the source of our light then is a planet we might see, the source of the soft glow by which we see it. We see it because of the reflection of light upon it.
Our soul is bathed in the light of our spirit, it does have a life, but it is not as complete and luminous as we would like to think.
The soul is between spirit and the body. It is composed of substances that have their origin, like the origin of planets, in the common matter of things. But, the soul also receives into itself and disseminates a powerful energy from its spiritual sun. The soul is the messenger of the spirit, it is an extension of the spirit.
The ancients said that the “soul receives from the body a certain heritage and it receives a certain heritage from the spirit. The soul is that part of a person that contains within it, reason, intuition, emotion and the magical power of imagination.”
And thus the ancient admonition was always; know thyself, know thyself and know thyself.
