Yale It From The Rooftops

In 1939, a team of medical doctors at Yale University announced an unusual cure for fungus infections of the hands and feet. Their preliminary report appeared in both Science Newsletter of May 6, 1939, and the Journal of the American Medical Association of April 1, 1939.

The team of doctors passed copper through the skin by an electrical current. The afflicted person sits with feet immersed in enamel pans and their hands in other basins. When the infection is on the feet, the hands are immersed in salt solutions and the feet in 0.2 percent copper sulfate solution. For infections of the hands, the relations are reversed.

The duration of each treatment is 20 minutes. The doctors had also constructed a special apparatus to obviate any danger of an electrical shock.

Of 37 patients treated at Yale University School of Medicine using this electric current technique, 26 were discharged as cured. Some of these people had severe infections that had lasted as long as 25 years. The average number of treatments given was six. The treatment had no side effects.

The doctors who devised the treatments were Dr. Howard W. Haggard, Dr. Maurice J. Strauss and Dr. Leon A. Goldberg.  All were Yale University medical doctors.

I imagine any enthusiasm you might feel will be based on the credibility you give to medical doctors from that "little known" university.

Oh, how I love the beneficial results when electricity is involved. Electricity is a vital current of energy in the body, and when combined with copper, produced these wonderful results without creating adverse effects, as many other therapies often produce that are not compatible with the body.
